„Responding to underachievement and the effects of socio-economic background, France aims to bring about a general mobilisation in education to raise the overall performance of pupils. The objective is to strengthen the targeted support in French and mathematics through additional measures, including: (i) the rollout, from September 2024, of certified manuals in French and mathematics in preschools and primary schools; and (ii) the implementation of differentiated groups in French and mathematics according to students’ needs within classes.“
