„Finland offers a pre-vocational programme for immigrants (ammatilliseen peruskoulutukseen valmentava koulutus) that lasts 6 to 12 months. Migrants are provided with information and guidance on different occupations and vocational studies, and when migrants later apply for an upper-secondary vocational programme through a joint application system, they can receive extra points for having completed the preparatory training.“
