„Analyses of multivariate models indicate that the odds of frequent adolescent mealtime media use varied significantly by adolescent gender, grade level, household income, parent education level and parent race/ethnicity. […] Household income was significantly and inversely associated with adolescents frequently listening to music with headphones during family meals. Compared to parents with a college or advanced degree, parents with a high school education or less had significantly higher odds of reporting adolescent use of TV and electronic game playing during family meals.“
